Let’s talk about the weighted vest. I’m deep in the throes of menopause, and honestly, I have no desire to look 70 when I’m only 50. I’ll admit, I was skeptical at first. But now? It’s a non-negotiable part of my workouts, whether I’m walking outside or on the treadmill. I can feel the difference. My goals are simple: strong bones, a healthy body, and staying in shape. Even my daughters have jumped on board, using the weighted vest a couple of times a week during their workouts. Right now, I’m using an 8-pound vest, but I plan to increase the weight as I go.
