Biltmore Estate, Asheville, NC

My husband surprised me with a birthday getaway to the Biltmore Inn located in Asheville, NC. The Inn at the Biltmore offers a peaceful, luxurious place to stay with breath taking views. While there, we were visited the Biltmore Estates touring the beautiful home and gardens filled with so much history. During the tour you are given a device to listen to as you move through the different rooms. It feels as though you are moving back in time, imagining yourself immersed in the social events held there. There are many activities to participate in on the grounds of the Biltmore that are family friendly. In the evening we sat in the hotel lounge area enjoying a signature cocktail, I am not going to lie, we had to try their mini ice cream sandwich assortment for dessert. YUM! We enjoyed our stay so much we chose to book a night as we were traveling through. Our two daughters are looking forward to spending a weekend soon exploring the Biltmore and all the activities offered on the grounds.
